What Are Composite Fillings?

Composite resins, or tooth-colored fillings, provide good durability and resistance to fracture in small- to mid-size fillings that need to withstand moderate pressure from the constant stress of chewing.

They can be used on either front or back teeth. They are a good choice for people who prefer that their fillings look more natural.

Post-Treatment Instructions

Since the tooth fillings got in its position hard immediately, there’s no time for waiting until eating. Maybe some to wait until the anesthesia passes away.

Due to the strange feeling of the anesthetic, many patients will chew the inside of their lips, cheeks, or tongue which can cause serious damage.

Sensitivity to hot and cold is common. Usually, the deeper the cavity, the more sensitive the tooth will be.

If you feel the bite is not correctly balanced, please call the doctor, and he will fix your problem in minutes.

The gum tissue could have been irritated during the procedure and may be sore for a few days along with the anesthetic injection site.
